WooSeller AI ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it when you use wooseller.com or the WooSeller WordPress plugin.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and payment details (processed securely by Paddle — we never store full card numbers). We also store your subscription status and plan tier.
Store Data
The plugin sends us your WooCommerce product data (titles, descriptions, prices, attributes, stock status) to power the AI assistant. This data is stored and used solely to generate responses for your store's visitors. We do not share it with third parties.
Chat Conversations
Visitor questions and AI responses from your store are logged for the purpose of product improvement and support. Conversations do not include personally identifiable visitor information unless a visitor voluntarily provides it. You can request deletion of your store's conversation logs at any time.
Usage and Technical Data
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, and timestamps. We may use session analytics (without persistent cross-site tracking) to understand how the dashboard is used.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the WooSeller AI Service
- To process billing and manage your subscription
- To send transactional emails (receipts, plan changes, expiry notices)
- To provide technical support
- To detect and prevent abuse or fraud
- To send product updates or announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Paddle — our payment processor, for billing and subscription management
- AI inference providers — product data and visitor queries are sent to large language model APIs to generate responses. These providers are contractually bound to data confidentiality
- Infrastructure providers — our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation. Chat logs are retained for up to 12 months. You may request earlier deletion by emailing [email protected].
5. Security
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit and encrypt sensitive fields at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics cookies in the future, you will be notified and given the option to opt out.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to erasure")
- Object to or restrict certain types of processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised policy.
